We should take the battle to Cavalon or House zu Heltzer.

Idea:
Turtles should be able to blast buildings in Kurzick outposts and turn them into rubble. The pillars should come crashing down and kill any players in the vicinity. Until the Kurzicks regain the outposts, a Luxon version of the outpost featuring rubble, debris, shattered glass, and Luxon banners and NPCs, should be available.

Wow... you don't happen to be a Luxon, do you? That idea isn't biased at all...

What about an AoE insta-kill for the Kurzicks?

Here's my thought: Kurzick diplomats make the Luxons realize they are all beastiality loving pirate, and they commit mass suicide.

/endsarcasm

And for clarity: /notsigned

We don't need even more maps to sit and wait for 10-15 minutes for the opposing side to join...

The problem is that luxons usually stop playing when they reach into kurz territory.
And we all know everyone wants to be a goth kurz so in quantity - kurz > lux

I've never seen a waiting time in luxon areas

Other kinds of territory bonuses (lesser than grentz & enterans but greater than saltspray) that actually wont scare ppl away can be a possibility for all sides to play.

Luxons do have the rare waiting periods, but overall its alot shorter being luxon then kurzick. This was the deciding factor then me...

I don't think there's anything that would save AB from it's newbie-infested repetitiveness. If AB is what you're into, and you're disappointed with it, find something much more interesting, mcuh more rewarding, and MUCH more fun to do because there's lots of things. It's just cooperative PvE, anyways.

I only AB on event weekends cause it reels in the z-keys bigtime.

i always thought AB should be about fighting for a particular town/outpost. (since essentially, that is what is happening anyway)

say the disputed area is durheim archives, and the luxons currently own it. luxons get dumped into the town, and the kurzicks are dumped outside and have to besiege it and claim it for their own - add cap points just like the current AB maps and the first to 500 wins. would be much more fun than playing the same 5 maps over and over and over again...

More maps are needed, even if they aren't that imaginative, perhaps open up Fort Aspenwood/Jade Quarry maps to AB or something....

I'd be keen for more variation.

Not only new maps but different modes of play would be cool.A large area for organized 4v4 or 8v8 team play would be awesome and would add some respect to the format as opposed to the current randomness of team selection.

Pity it will never happen.

blasting walls? crumbling buildings?

i don't know about you, but i'm pretty sure GW does not support CUDA or Havok physics. even if it does, it means that 99.8% of GW's population's computers will instantly explode in such maps.

i had this idea a wile ago thought i posted it but must have never gotten around to it. though wut i would like to see is 2 things 1 add jade quarry and fort aspenwood to the end of the rotations. and 2 add in more areas and factions like humas vs charr and you would be fighting for ascalon and the char homelands, and then add shining blade vs white mantle so you would be fighting for that as well..... i acauly thought that they were going to add part2 with gwen....
